FAQ
Pest Control Questions
Can you take care of bed begs? What is the treatment procedure?
Yes, we treat bed bugs, but it is very difficult. We use either spraying or heat treatments. Heat treatment is the best, but it can get expensive.
What can be done for mice?
We inspect the residence to find out where they're coming in. We then use either windup traps, glue boards, and/or poison to control the mice.
Can you spray for mosquitoes?
Yes, we can spray for them. We normally spray for weddings, birthday parties, or other major events taking place in your yard. The chemical normally lasts about a week.
Is the spray safe for pets and/or children? Do we have to be out of the house while you spray?
Yes, the spray is safe for everybody. We only use EPA approved chemicals. Our technicians are certified yearly and attend training on a regular basis to handle the chemicals correctly.
How do you control spiders?
The best way to control spiders is to spray the outside perimeter, along the foundation of the house, as well as the upper corners of the house. Spraying both the inside and outside of the house will create optimal control.
Lawn Service Questions
Why do I have to spray 4 times per year?
The weed control used is not a preventative killer. It only kills the weeds that are growing at the time of the application. To keep the weeds under control, most people prefer to spray four times per year.
When should I water my lawn? When is it safe for pets and/or children?
We suggest waiting 12 hours to water the lawn after the application. It will be safe for both pets and children once it is dry. It normally takes an hour or less for drying to occur, depending on how hot it is outside that day.
When can I mow my yard? How high should I mow?
For optimal results, we recommend waiting 24–48 hours before mowing. After the lawn is sprayed, do not bag the clippings for 2 mowing cycles. Keep the mowing blade height between 2.5–3 inches.
What do I do with the plugs from the aeration?
You can mow over the plugs. Eventually they will disintegrate. It may take a few times mowing for this to happen. You may also rake them up, if you wish.
What weeds will the weed killer control/not control?
It will control a wide variety of broadleaf weeds including dandelions, thistle, and clover with the right amount of applications. It will not control bentgrass and tall fescue. Quack grass and crab grass are treated with separate pre and post emergent applications.
